While there are other properties in cannabis, CBD Oil occupies nearly 60% of all the compounds in the plant that dominates most parts of the Caribbean. Not all species of cannabis contain the same amount of CBD Oil, though. Marijuana, for example, which is grown mostly for its recreational purposes, contains less amount of CBD Oil compared to THC.

3.  CBD Oil Is Now Legal

After a long battle to legalize it, CBD Oil is now legal. The FDA recently gave an okay for the drug to be used in conducting tests on epileptic minors. Additionally, CBD Oil is categorized as Schedule I drug and Schedule II drug in U.S.A and Canada respectively.

In 2003, the United States of Americas’ Health & Human Services received a patent award that covered the use of Cannabidiol in the treatment and management of various inflammatory disorders as well as neurodegenerative complications.

4. CBD Oil Is Not Psychoactive

When compared with THC, CBD Oil has no record of causing high. Because of this reason, many people do not choose it for recreational purposes. In other words, it is mainly used for its medical purpose. Additionally, medical researchers prefer CBD Oil’s use to any other of cannabis ingredients because of its minimal side effects on those it is prescribed to.

Current Drug Safety, observes that CBD Oil does not cause any interference with several psychological and psychomotor functions. Many patients can tolerate CBD Oil even when it is at high doses, the report indicates.

5. It Can Be Used To Reduce THC’s Negative Effects
